TEAM ADMINISTRATOR – DEVELOPMENT
Our client, the New Zealand High Commission in Fiji is seeking a qualified and experienced individual for the position of Team Administrator – Development based in Suva. The New Zealand International Development Coordination Programme is managed by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade (MFAT), represented in Fiji by the New Zealand High Commission.
The Team Administrator – Development provides administrative and logistical support to the Development Team. The role supports the effective delivery of New Zealand’s development cooperation programme by coordinating workshops, events, visits, and travel; managing business and financial processes; and assisting with contract and budget tracking. The position contributes to the monitoring of programme activities, ensuring contract milestones are met or updated as required, while maintaining productive relationships with internal and external stakeholders to enable the successful implementation of development initiatives.
Qualifications and Experience
A tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline (or equivalent work experience).
At least five years’ administrative experience, with demonstrated project management skills in a similar sector.
Excellent knowledge of MS Suite applications and information management systems.
Strong written and oral communication skills in English (local languages an advantage).
