    The Role:

Are you an Events superstar with exceptional admin skills looking to make an impact in the not-for-profit sector and help create positive change in the community? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you as an Events and Marketing Advisor!

As our Events and Marketing Advisor, you’ll:

  • Craft Exceptional Experiences: Plan, coordinate, and execute captivating face-to-face, hybrid, and digital events, managing everything from logistics to supplier liaison and event set-up.
  • Support with Style: Handle marketing and administrative tasks, from creating compelling documents to processing correspondence and analysing data. You’ll bring structure, order and efficiency to the team.
  • Be the Go-To Expert: Act as the central point of contact for stakeholders, ensuring inquiries are resolved promptly and effectively.
  • Champion Accessibility and Inclusion: Deliver events that welcome and celebrate diverse communities.

 This position will be offered on a permanent part-time basis working 38 hours per fortnight. Flexible hours dependent on candidate availability.

Selection Criteria

  • Tertiary qualification in a relevant field such as Event Management, Marketing, or relevant experience
  • Relevant experience in a similar role planning and delivering corporate events.
  • Advanced customer services skills.
  • Intermediate administrative skills with a strong attention to detail.
  • Advanced communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Intermediate computer, numeracy and literacy skills.
  • Intermediate organisational skills with the ability to prioritise competing tasks.
  • Ability to establish good working relationships with a variety of stakeholders.
  • Ability to work autonomously and in a team environment. 
  • Satisfactory Police clearance (not older than 6 months from the issue date)
  • Unrestricted drivers’ licence
