Communicare are seeking a seasoned and purpose-driven Lead Project Manager with a continuous improvement and strategic mindset, to join the team based at our Pattie Street Office, a full-time permanent capacity.
The Role
You will have the opportunity to oversee a portfolio of business and technology initiatives that drive innovation and growth within the organization. Managing a team of two, you will provide hands-on leadership to refine our project management framework, implement new systems, refine processes and provide reports on progress, risk and performance.
Key Responsibilities:
Take ownership of and analyse existing processes to develop and implement the Communicare Project Management Framework ensuring consistent governance, methodology, and quality standards across all projects.
Manage the Projects Office portfolio to a consistently high standard, proactively sharing information, and supporting colleagues to achieve project goals and meet deadlines
Oversee registers, portfolios and systems to ensure compliance and that all data meets relevant legislative requirements.
Develop and maintain a portfolio-level risk management framework and supporting templates to guide consistent risk identification and mitigation across all projects.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders by adopting a consultative approach to delivery projects according to schedule, budget and quality.
Serve as the central reporting conduit to Communicare’s Executive Leadership, providing regular updates on project status, escalating risks and issues, and identifying variations to scope, budget, timeframes, or quality within approved tolerances.
Your Experience
Ideally, you will have tertiary qualifications in either business, commerce or project management supported by a minimum of 5 years’ experience in leading complex projects and portfolios. With a proven ability lead Change Management strategies that drive successful adoption, through thoughtful stakeholder engagement, integrated training and seamless alignment with project and portfolio delivery.

In addition, you will have:
Knowledge and understanding of PRINCE2 foundations/practitioner or PMBOK
Experience using AGILE project delivery methods
Strong influential skills to build relationships and drive motivation within the team
Experience with Microsoft Excel to produce reports or export data
Willing to provide or obtain a National Police Clearance within 6 months of issue
