About the Role
We are seeking a talented and experienced Service Desk Analyst to join our IT team at Defence Health. This is a permanent position based in our South Melbourne office. As a Service Desk Analyst, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality IT support to our employees, ensuring their technical needs are met efficiently and effectively.
What you will be doing
Delivering a high-level of customer service, which is proactive, cooperative, and dependable.
Liaising with ICT staff and specialists, including external service providers as required to resolve more complex issues and to ensure compliance with Service Level Agreements.
Participating in review of support activities with a view to continual improvement of services provided.
Acting as a service desk and provide 1st level support to the business on any application related issue.

The successful candidate will have the following attributes:
Level 1 and Level 2 technical knowledge of desktop & software applications i.e., Operating Systems Windows 10, Microsoft Office, Office 365.
Demonstrated entry level or basic working knowledge of basic IT infrastructure and network equipment i.e. VPN, Citrix, Intune
Able to acquire and retain system knowledge quickly
Proficient in using IT service management tools and ticketing systems
Ability to work effectively in a team and collaborate with various stakeholders of all different levels
