About the role

We are looking for someone on a 12-month contract to be responsible for the Level 3 Wintel support. More specifically you will be responsible for:

  • Providing design guidance and project assistance for VMware and Azure based Wintel Systems
  • Providing advanced fault diagnostics and promote a culture of automation
  • Helping to influence and implement industry best practice in cyber security and access management practices
  • Ensure our server, network and storage infrastructure meets defined availability, continuity, security and capacity metrics

Skills & Experience

To be successful in this position, you will ideally possess the following attributes:

  • 10 years+ experience of technical support with atleast 5 years in Systems Engineering or similar level 3 technical roles
  • MCSE: Core Infrastructure certified or equivalent knowledge
  • Technical expertise in VMware, Azure, Windows Servers, ADFS or similar IDAM technology
  • Experience in supporting Microsoft Exchange/Exchange Online, Microsoft 365, Microsoft ATP and endpoint DLP, MDM, SCCM or InTune
  • Perform technical research, implement proof of concepts and produce project scopes
  • Strong analytical skills with a demonstrated ability to extensively analyse and resolve complex problems 
  • Knowledge of storage, backup and recovery principles.
  • Ability to manage high volume transactions with a degree of complexity
  • Exceptional customer service, written and verbal communication skills
