About our ECEI Team
We are a close-knit team of committed allied health professionals, teachers, social workers and educators, working together for a common cause. We partner with the NDIS to support families and children with developmental delays and disabilities to access early intervention, that will help them to develop the skills they need to take part in everyday activities, and to be included in family and community life.
 
About you
You are a tertiary qualified (minimum diploma) allied health professional, who shares our passion in providing world class support to your clients. You are empathetic and excel in working with families who have a child aged 0-6 with a developmental delay or disability. You can engage children on their level to assess where they are in their developmental milestones.
 
What you'll be doing
  • Assessing children’s needs and making recommendations about support to help them achieve their goals
  • Define plans to assist child in daily activities at home and in the community
  • Undertaking outreach work in family homes
  • Identifying appropriate referral pathways
  • Develop plans that meet NDIA guidelines
  • Develop evidence based short to medium term interventions
Skills, Knowledge and Experience
  • Professional experience providing early intervention with families and children aged 0-6 with developmental delays or disabilities
  • Minimum Tertiary qualification of Diploma in allied health or early childhood education
  • Knowledge and application of evidenced based best practice principles of early childhood intervention
  • Knowledge of the NDIS legislation and processes to protect children from risk
  • Valid unrestricted Australian driver’s licence
  • Working with Children Check or Working with vulnerable people check
  • Current National Police Check (completed within 60 days of commencement)
